Do You Ever Seen Rhinoceros In Lizard Form?

Yep, it is Rhinoceros Iguana (Cyclura Cornuta).

This one species are not seem like usual Iguana you saw all this time. This is a threatened species of lizard in the family Iguanidae that is primarily found on the Carribean Island of Hispaniola, shared by the republic of Haiti and the Dominican republic (Wikipedia). They are vary and length from 60cm to 136cm (24 to 54in) and adults can weigh to 4.56 kilograms. They don't have length like "Green Iguana" you know that can grow up to 2 metres length. But, they do have unique distinctive, from their body, tail and its head. The male one will seem appearance of horn like what rhinoceros has. Horns will start to develop when they get bigger or matured. Females is the opposite. They won't have horns like the male. that is one thing to differ which one is male or female. Their spikes are short, not like the "Green Iguana" that will grow over the time. They have thick and shorter tails, but strong enough to hit someone when they get frightened. But, it's stuff when they have not tamed enough. They are likely being friendly to any human when they are already adapted with human being and when they have intensed by handle. This species are primarily herbivorous consuming leaves, berries, flowers, fruits and etc. In other hand they can eat fillet chicken or kind of meat, but not intensely. I think, they are cute enough to be a house-pet.
